Using the heater
Switch on the heater by turning the switch to the on position – I. Wait until the fan fully starts.
Caution! If the fan does not rotate, make sure that the heater is correctly connected to the power supply. If the heater is properly
connected to the power supply and the fan does not start, do not run the heater. In this case, contact the manufacturer's authorised
service centre.
Open the gas cylinder valve slowly. Ensure that no gas is leaking from any of the connections. Then press and hold the gas feed
button with your right hand. Press the spark switch with the left hand until the gas/air mixture is ignited. Keep the gas feed button
pressed for about 20 seconds, then slowly release pressure on the button.
Switching off heater/disconnecting gas supply
In order to switch off the heater, the gas cylinder valve must fi rst be closed. Wait at least 2 minutes, allowing the heater to cool
down initially. Move the engine switch to the O – off position. Disconnect the power cord from the mains socket. Wait at least 3
minutes after switching off the heater in case it is to be restarted.
If the heater is not going to be used in the near future, it should be disconnected from the gas supply. To do this, wait until the
heater has cooled down completely. Ensure that the valve on the cylinder is fully closed. Unscrew the nut securing the gas supply
line clockwise from the heater fi rst, then remove its other end with the regulator from the gas cylinder. Maintenance of the unit
can proceed.
Replacement of the gas cylinder
NOTE! The gas cylinder replacement procedure should be carried out out outdoors or only in very well ventilated rooms.
Ensure that there are no sources of open fl ame in the vicinity before replacing. The presence of an open fl ame poses a
risk of explosion or fi re.
Allow the unit to cool down completely before replacing the cylinder.
Then close the gas cylinder valve.
Warning! It is forbidden to unscrew the regulator from the outlet connection of the gas cylinder if the gas cylinder valve is not
completely closed. This will avoid gas leaks and the associated risks.
Unscrew the regulator nut from the gas cylinder connection. The connection seal should be replaced each time the gas cylinder is
replaced. The regulator is not fi tted with a gasket, the gasket should be on the gas cylinder connection. The gas cylinder seal seals
the connection between the cylinder and the regulator. If the condition of the gasket indicates that it is suitable for replacement,
contact your gas cylinder supplier. Under no circumstances should the connection be additionally sealed at the thread. Screw the
regulator to the gas cylinder connection. Check other connections for tightness. Check that all connections are tight.
Warning! It is forbidden to use cylinders with a damaged threaded connection. Gas cylinders that are damaged, corroded or have
dents can be dangerous and should be checked by the gas supplier.
Maintenance, storage, transport
Warning! Make sure the appliance is completely cooled down, unplugged from the mains socket and disconnected from
the gas supply before starting any maintenance operation.
Clean the appliance housing with a cloth slightly dampened with water and dry it. Clean the surroundings of the air inlet and outlet
with a compressed air jet with a pressure of no more than 0.3 MPa. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid and
do not clean it with a jet of water or any other liquid. Store the appliance disconnected from power supply. The power cord must
be unplugged from the power supply socket. The storage area should be protected from direct sunlight, precipitation and access
by unauthorised persons, especially children. Ensure that there is good ventilation in the storage area to prevent moisture from
accumulating on the components, which can lead to corrosion. Corrosion can change the parameters of gas installation compo-
nents, which can lead to uncontrolled gas fl ow and result in fi re or explosion. Do not cover the ventilation openings of the cylinder
storage room. Accumulation of gas may lead to fi re or explosion.
It is forbidden to transport the heater over any distance with a gas cylinder connected to it. Before transporting, close the gas
cylinder valve and disconnect it from the heater. It is recommended to transport the heater in its factory packaging.
Service
It is recommended that the unit be serviced at least once a year, and contact the manufacturer's authorised service centre. Do
not unscrew the unit yourself or carry out repairs. Repairs to the unit may only be carried out by an authorised manufacturer's
service centre. Any modifi cation of the product not described in the instructions is prohibited. It is forbidden to change the design
of the heater yourself. Do not disassemble factory assembled or factory sealed components, especially the gas system. For a list
of spare parts, please refer to the product data sheet on the manufacturer's website.
