First try the solutions suggested here to possibly avoid the cost of a service call.

SOLUTION
Press the Filter Status pad to show remaining filter life.
Press the Filter Status pad to show remaining filter life.
If the display shows 0%, the filter needs to be replaced.
When the unit has detected a new filter (a filter has
been replaced) the Filter Status LED will flash 3
times and then remain off to indicate the filter was
successfully replaced.
Replace filter.
Wipe off the filter/surrounding area if there is any water
from filter replacement.
Verify you have the XWFE filter and not the XWF.
Verify there are no scratches or filter label damage.
Replace filter if filter label shows damage.
Replace filter or make sure the water filter is properly
installed (see water filter section).
Wait about 30 minutes for defrost cycle to end.
Set the controls to a lower temperature setting.
Push the plug completely into the outlet.
Replace fuse or reset the breaker.
Unplug the refrigerator and plug it back in.
