Factory Reset
To reset the ESC to factory default settings, connect a battery, turn the transmitter on and then turn
the car on. Press and hold the set button for 5 seconds and release. The Red and Green lights will
flash simultaneously to show you have reset. Switch the ESC off and factory reset is complete.

Possible Causes
Battery voltage is
below the LVC setting.
The ESC is taking too
much load.
The ESC is damaged.
There is too much load
on the drive system for
the ESC to support.
Throttle trim not at
neutral.

LVC Activation
When the battery voltage drops
low enough to activate the LVC
saftey feature the ESC will
sound a double beep when using
Spektrum SMART batteries. A
single beep will be heard if using
regular batteries.
Solution
Verify the battery is charged.
Turn off the ESC and allow it to
cool before resuming operation.
Consider making changes to gear
ratio to reduce load to the ESC.
Send the ESC to a Horizon Hobby
service center for service.
Consider changing the battery or
gearing to reduce the load on the ESC,
or change your driving habits to reduce
the load.
Turn off ESC. Adjust throttle trim
on transmitter to neutral. Turn
back on.
