How selections are counted
When starting the music search operation from the middle of a se-
lection and specifying "Ist previous selection," playback will re-
turn to the beginning of the present selection. To return to selec-
tions further back, count one extra selection.

Erasure prevention tabs
The recording (@) button does not work when the erasure preven-
tion tabs of the joaded cassette tape have been broken off (See
page 7). Do not press the recording (@) button with unreasonable
force. When recording on both sides, make sure that both tabs are
intact.

1. Press the open/close {=} button.
When the open/close buttan is pressed, "OPEN" appears in the
counter, and the cassette door opens.
2. Insert a tape for recording.
3. Press the open/close {#) button.

Then cassette door closes.

When
the cassette
door closes, the reel automatically
ro-
tates and takes up tape stack (ATLC: Automatic Tape Loose
Canceller}.

While the cassette door is open, pressing the play (b ) but-
ton, fast forward |e } button, rewind {<< } button, record-
ing (@) button or pause ( 2B} button will close the cassette
door automatically, and the operation corresponding to the
button pressed begins.
