L'ultima causa di accoppiamento difettoso dei due coni è rappresentata dal fatto che uno dei due coni
non sia perfetto. Normalmente ciò si verifica in caso di macchine molto vecchie dove il cono della macchina
è fortemente rovinato dalle numerose lavorazioni pesanti e dall'interpolazione di trucioli tra cono macchina
e mandrini nel corso degli anni. In tutti questi casi, non essendoci un contatto perfetto tra i due coni, le teste
oscillano durante la rotazione e in molti casi tale oscillazione si avverte perfino ad occhio nudo. Inoltre, le
attrezzature non riescono a lavorare e vibrano per una totale assenza di rigidità

This can happen in case of very old machine tools where the spindle is spoiled due to heavy machining or the
interposition of chips between the shank and the spindle during the years.
In these cases, since there is not perfect coupling between the shank and the spindle, the head swings during
rotation and often it can also be seen with the naked eye. The head cannot machine the work-piece and
vibrates due to the lack of rigidity

Il peut également arriver que le cône de la tête ou la broche de la machine ne soit pas parfait.
Ceci peut arriver sur des têtes ou des broches de machine anciennes, du à des efforts d'usinage
excessif ou des résidus de copeaux mal nettoyés.
Dans ce cas, comme le contact entre le cône de la tête et la broche n'est pas bon, il y aura des oscillations
durant l'usinage même perceptibles à l'oeil nu. Il y aura alors des vibrations et la pièce ne pourra être usinée
correctement.
