Fitting instruction Superbike-Kit
Model: Suzuki GSX 1300R Hayabusa

Important: If you are not a trained motorcycle mechanic stop now. Ask a local
motorcycle shop to do the work for you. Please read the LSL-Superbike-Kit Fitting
instructions.

The screen must be shortened or replaced.
Instructions:
To mount the adaptor plates, please use the original screws. After mounting the back-set-clamps, the bar
must show towards the driver, not to the front. Replace the brake line and fix it with the attached rubber
clamp and the screws ULS M6x10 on the upper yoke. Remove the throttle- and choke-cable from the right
original bracket (from the steering head). Route the throttle cable behind the right stanchion to the
instruments. The choke cable must be routed to the left side, at right angles to the front tank-bracket and
behind the left stanchion to the instruments. Remove the clutch cable from the left original position (from the
steering head) and mount it with the attached steel-bracket, the rubber clamp 8 mm and the screw ULS
M6x10 to above. A steel braided clutch cable will not be mounted on the frame/steering head! Move the brake
and clutch instruments 20 mm away from the shift instruments to obtain more space to the screen. Remove
both cable trees out of the strap at the fairing bracket. Remove the cable tree of the right instrument out of the
wire-bracket and route it in front of the stanchion to the right. Fixing of the right cable tree: Move the bar to the
most
right position. Mount the cable tree with the small strap on the brake-line. To avoid damages at the steering
damper, fix the cable tree on the A-arm metals of the fairing-brackets (use the holes to mount it). Mount
the mirrors on the other side as original. Close the drain holes and drill new drain holes on the upper side.
Modify the lock-stop with the 2 mm plates! Use suitable adhesive!
