Troubleshooting
Dry cleaning
Problem
Reduced spray or no spray
Stain Cleaner won't pick up
cleaning solution
The Stain Cleaner cannot be
switched on
The suction is weak / The surface
being cleaned is too wet
No detergent water is dispensed
from the brush

Spray nozzle is clogged
Clean water tank is empty
Poor cleaning nozzle position
Dirty water tank is full
Nozzle brush is worn
Remaining dirt in hose
Incorrect detergent
The mains plug is not properly
connected to socket outlet
The dirty water tank is full
The dirty water tank is not placed
back properly
The brush head is clogged
Too much detergent water is
dispensed on the cleaning surface
The hose is clogged
The dispense button is not kept

The clean water tank is empty

Solution
Clean spray nozzle holes using an
unfolded paper clip
Check and fill the tank
Reposition cleaning nozzle on
surface, follow recommended
cleaning procedures
Empty the dirty water tank
Replace brush inside cleaning
nozzle
Clean the hose (see chapter 1
"Maintenance after each cleaning
cycle") to remove the blockage
Only use Philips Stain Cleaner
3000 Series
Connect the mains plug to socket
outlet
Empty the dirty water tank
Place the dirty water tank back in
cleaner properly
Remove the brush head from
handgrip and clean brush head
Dispense less detergent water
while brush cleaning the surface
Clean the hose (see chapter 1
"Maintenance after each cleaning
cycle") to remove the blockage
Keep pressing dispensing button
on the handgrip
Fill up clean water tank
