4. Insert the centring ceramic into the torch body, whereby
the tungsten electrode must be fed through the central bore
hole of the ceramic.
5. The set measurement of tungsten electrode length is deter-
mined using the adjustment tool. To do this, screw the set-
ting gauge into the torch body. The tip of the tungsten elec-
trode must be level with the stop rim of the groove. Clamp
the tungsten electrode in this position using the torch cap.
6. Screw the plasma nozzle into the threaded body and tigh-
ten using the adjustment tool provided.
Nozzles which are not tightened correctly can lead to
the torch being destroyed due to poor current and
heat transfer.
7. Push the insulating ring over the exterior thread of the torch
body until it is touching the plastic casing of the torch.
8. Screw the gas diffuser onto the exterior thread of the torch
body as far as it will go.
9. Lightly screw the ceramic gas nozzle onto the exterior
thread on the body of the torch until it fits firmly in the
groove of the insulating ring.
