detergent; do not use fabric softener). If the headband cover is leather, clean it by
wiping the band with a cloth moistened with suitable material; leather parts must
not be washed. When installing the textile parts attention must be paid that when
fastening the Velcro the seam faces into the helmet and cannot be seen from
the outside. Afterwards the headband must be reinstalled into the helmet in the
reverse order.
5.2 Cleaning the chin strap
The chin strap should be cleaned when
necessary. To do this open the Velcro fastener of
the head strap (under the cradle net) completely.
Afterwards the two screws (hexagon socket) of
the side chin strap mounts must be unscrewed.
After opening the two short neck straps (at the
slide adjuster), the chin strap can be removed
and machine-washed at 60°C (warm) (wash in
washing net with mild detergent; do not use
fabric softener).
When reinstalling it is recommended to first
thread the head strap back in, then reinstall the
two neck straps and finally screw the side screws
back into place. To finish, readjust the chin strap
as described under 4.4 for an optimal fit.
6. Spare parts
All spare parts can be easily exchanged.
