Batteries represent a hazard to health and the
environment! Never open, damage, or swallow
batteries or allow them to pollute the environ-
ment. They may contain toxic, ecologically
hazardous heavy metals. The removed batteries
shall be disposed of at the point of sale or in the
corresponding containers provided at collection
points by local public waste authorities and trea-
ted according to 2006/66/EC.
The batteries and recyclable electronic waste
shall be disposed of in a separate waste contai-
ner.
Packaging materials must be disposed of accor-
ding to local regulations. Consult the authorized
collection points for more information.
