The ankle joint support TaloStabil® Sport from BORT supports damaged tissue struc-
tures (joints, ligaments, capsules and cartilage). Here, the compression strengthens the
retaining function of the ligaments, thus relieving the joint. At the same time, this support
helps to avoid incorrect movement. When on the move, the compressed SOFTflex 3D knitted
fabric ensures greater elasticity and stability and is very comfortable to wear, whilst the two
silicone pads cause a massage effect which reduces the swelling tendency or contributes to
faster regression of existing swelling.
COOLMAX® fibre wicks moisture away from the body, ensuring dry and pleasant wearing
comfort.
Instructions for use:
Grasp the upper edge of the support and pull it over your foot.
Indications:
Chronic post-traumatic or post-operative soft tissue irritations in the ankle area, distortion,
ligament weakness, after removal of plaster cast, ligament injuries, upper ankle joint distor-
tion, arthrosis.
Contraindications:
Peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD), lymphatic drainage disorders including unclear
soft tissue swelling distal to the positioned aid, sensory disturbances and circulatory disor-
ders in the specific body region, skin diseases in the specific part of the body.
Composition:
40 % polyamide (COOLMAX®), 40 % polyamide, 19 % elastane (LYCRA®), 1 % silicone
Important Note:
No re-use – this medical aid is intended for treating one patient.
If the support is to be worn at night, observe that the circulation is not impeded. In case of
feelings of numbness, loosen the support and remove it if necessary. In case of persistent
complaints, you should consult a doctor.
Neither use any creams nor ointments when wearing the support as they could damage
the material.
