Always separate the rechargeable battery pack from the cruise control/receiver when the vehicle is not used. Take the
batteries (or rechargeable batteries) out of the remote control.
c) Setting of tooth backlash
Control the tooth backlash at regular intervals. The tooth backlash has to be adjusted at the latest when the electric
motor, the motor pinion or the main pinion is exchanged.
To do this loosen the two fastening screws of the electric motor so that you can move the motor with slight pressure in
the direction of the main pinion.
Motor pinion and the main pinion now engage into each other without tolerance.
Now take a narrow paper strip and place it on the top between the toothed wheels.
Now move the main pinion by hand so that the paper strip between the two toothed wheels is pulled in.
The pressure of the paper pushes back the electric motor by the degree necessary. Now fasten the fastening screws
of the motor again in this position. When you turn back the main pinion afterwards so that the paper strip can be taken
out again, both toothed wheels will have the necessary distance to each other.
