and overall wing profile is maintained with technology utilizing special nylon
stiffeners, or pre-formed nylon rods, that are permanently incorporated into the
paraglider material. The use of the nylon rods came about by utilizing innovative
computer shaping (3D Balloning) during the design process. These rods evenly
distribute wing loading and reduce stress at suspencion points as well as relieve
the risk of abrasion damage.
