NOTICE
■ In high-pressure mode
brates automatically each time it is switched
on; in addition:
► First ensure that the compressor is
switched off.
► Ensure that the high-pressure hose is dis‐
connected from the product to be pumped
up.
► Press the pushbutton
the control panel switches on. The com‐
pressor is calibrated and ready for opera‐
tion.
The compressor switches off automatically if it is
not operated for more than 5 minutes.

► Press and hold the pushbutton
play on the control panel switches off.
The compressor is switched off.

► Insert the battery.
► Press the pushbutton.
The display on the control panel switches on,
and the compressor is ready for use.
► Press and hold the pushbutton
play on the control panel switches off.
► If the display does not switch off: Remove the
battery and contact a STIHL authorized
dealer.
The compressor is faulty.
9.2
Checking the battery
► Insert the battery.
► Press pushbutton
control panel switches on.
The compressor is operational.
► If the display does not switch on and the bat‐
tery is fully charged: Do not use the compres‐
sor and battery and contact a STIHL author‐
ized dealer.
There is an error in the compressor or battery.

10.1
Operation
The compressor can work in high-pressure oper‐
ation
or in blowing and suction operation
► Place the compressor with its base on a clean,
dry and level surface.
► Set down the compressor so that no sand or
dirt can be suctioned in.
► Switch on the compressor.
High-pressure operation
► Unroll the high-pressure hose of the compres‐
sor.

To pump up a tire with valve (A):
► Screw the high-pressure hose (4) directly onto
the tire valve.
To pump up a tire with valve (B):
► Screw the adapter (1) onto the tire valve.
► Screw high-pressure hose (4) onto the
adapter (1).
To pump up a ball (C) or other product (D):
► Insert the ball needle (2) or adapter (3) into the
valve of the product to be pumped up.
► Screw the ball needle (2) or adapter (3) onto
the high-pressure hose (4).

► Press pushbutton MODE (7) and select high-
pressure operation
The measured pressure is shown on the dis‐
play.
► Press pushbutton UNIT (8) and select the unit.
