Installation and setup
WARNING: This unit must be installed by a licensed professional or qualified
technician, in accordance with the instructions in this manual and the current
installation standards.
•
Improper installation voids the warranty and may result in damage or injury for which
the manufacturer cannot be held responsible.
•
Before installation, ensure that the local supply (electricity voltage and frequency) and the
unit's settings are compatible. The setting conditions for this unit are indicated on the label.
•
The laws, regulations, decrees and standards in force in the country of installation must
be applied (safety rules, recycling in accordance with regulations, etc.).
•
If the product contains removable rack guides (wire racks) and the user manual includes
recipes such as yoghurts, the wire racks must be removed and the oven operated via
the set cooking mode for these recipes. Information regarding removing the wire rack is
included in the Cleaning and maintenancesection.
Instructions for the installer
General instructions
•
After removing all packaging materials from the unit and its accessories, check the unit
for damage. Should the unit be damaged, do not use it and contact a licensed professional
or qualified technician immediately.
•
Check that no combustible or flammable items/materials, e.g. curtains, oil, fabrics, etc.,
are in the immediate vicinity.
•
The worktop and furniture around the unit must be able to withstand temperatures of
above 100°C.
•
This unit should not be installed directly above a dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, washing
machine or tumble dryer.
Installing the oven
The units are supplied with installation kits and can be installed on a suitable-sized worktop.
The installation dimensions of the hob and oven are shown below.
