Electrical connection and safety
WARNING:
This unit must be electrically connected by a licensed professional or qualified
electrician, in accordance with the instructions in this manual and the current
installation standards.
WARNING: THE UNIT MUST BE EARTHED.
Before connecting to the mains, check whether the unit's nominal voltage (indicated on
its nameplate) corresponds to the power supply voltage. The power cable must also be
able to support the unit's rated power (also mentioned on the unit nameplate).
During the installation process, make sure to use properly insulated cables. Any incorrect
connection may damage your unit. If the power cable is damaged and needs to be replaced,
call a qualified person to carry out this operation.
Do not use an adapter, multi-socket or extension cable.
The power cable should be kept away from the hot parts of the unit and should not be
kinked or crushed. Otherwise, the cable may become damaged and short circuit.
If the unit is not connected to the mains via a socket, install a multi-pole isolator switch
(with a minimum contact spacing of 3 mm), in accordance with safety regulations.
This unit has been designed to use 220-240 V of power. If your power supply is different,
contact a licensed professional or qualified electrician.
The power cable (H05VV-F) must be long enough to be plugged into the unit, even if the
unit is in front of the cabinet.
Check that all connections are tight.
Secure the power cable onto the terminal block, then close the cover.
The junction box connection is placed on the junction box.
