• Use the cable only for its intended purpose. Never use the cable to carry, pull or unplug the
electrical appliance. Keep the cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges and moving parts.
Damaged or entangled cables increase the risk of electric shock.
• When operating an electrical appliance outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor
use. The use of a cable suited to outdoor use limits the risk of electric shock.
• If the operation of the electrical appliance in a damp environment is unavoidable, use a residual
current device for personal protection. The use of an RCD limits the risk of electric shock.
2.4 USE AND MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRICAL ITEMS
• Check the appliance for faults or damage. If damaged, have the electrical appliance repaired
by a specialist before use.
• If the mains cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its Customer Service
team or similarly qualified individuals so as to avoid hazards.
3.0 INTENDED USE
The sand filter system is used for cleaning pool water. This system removes suspended solids and
similar substances from the water. A floor extraction system is also important, as the system can
only filter suspended substances. A sand filter system is not intended to remove or neutralise
algae, bacteria and other pathogens/ germs, etc. Use the product only for the purpose it is
intended for. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper use. Any
modification to the product may negatively impact safety, cause hazards and invalidate the
warranty.
Only suitable for domestic use; not for commercial use.
4.0 UNPACKING INFORMATION
Open the box and remove the product.
IMPORTANT: The system accessories can be found in the filter tank. Please ensure you have
removed them all.
After unpacking, please check the product for damage and to ensure it is complete. Subsequent
complaints cannot be accepted.
