The remote control
To operate a cassette deck
Turn the cassette deck ON before trying to operate it by remote control.
Make sure the remote control is in the cassette deck operation mode (# page 34).

Only when using a double cassette deck
To select the tape deck
(DECK 1/DECK 2)
To start play
While the tape is stopped
To fast-forward or rewind the tape
To stop play
To operate a CD player
Turn the CD player ON before trying to operate it by remote control.
Make sure the remote control is in the CD player operation mode
page 34).

To start play from the desired disc
[MEGA CD changer only]
To start play from the desired disc
"MEGA CD changer" means any Technics
CD changer that takes more than 50 discs.
