Loading a Disc
(1) Press [OPEN] to open the front panel.
@) Insert a disc with its label side facing up.
After the disc is inserted, close the front panel manually.
Notes:
e The mute is automatically turned on when a disc is inserted and
the CD mode is selected.
e The mute is automatically turned off when the front panel is
closed.
Caution:
Do not use irregularly-shaped CD (heart-shaped, octagon
etc.). Failure to observe this may cause maifunction.
Ejecting a Disc
Q) Press [OPEN] to open the front panel.
@ Press [4] to eject the disc. After the disc is removed, close the
front panel manually. The previous operation mode will resume.
Note:
Always remove the disc from the unit when the CD player is not
being used.
Note: You can eject the disc by pressing [4], even when
the power is off.
Starting CD Play
Press [SOURCE] to change to the CD play mode as follows, after
a disc has been inserted. Play will start automatically.
Tuner — CD player (When a disc is inserted)
Track Selection
e Press [> TRACK] to advance to the next track.
è Press [<< TRACK] to start play from the beginning of the track
now playing.
e Press (P> TRACK] or [<4 TRACK] repeatedly to skip the de-
sired number of tracks.
