f Connect the bus cable to the female connector.

f Connect the female connector to the back of the appliance.
Completing the installation
f Carefully push the unit into the wall mounted enclosure until
it engages.

Installation as a spare part in the ventilation
unit
f Disconnect the power supply by pulling the power plug from
its socket.

f To release the filter cover, press the cover fastening on both
sides of the appliance.
f Pull the filter cover forwards to remove it from the appliance.

f From above, undo the screws securing the top front panel to
the ventilation unit.
G
A cable is connected at the back of the programming unit.
f To avoid damaging the cable and programming unit, lift the
top front panel carefully off the ventilation unit.

f Disconnect the cable from the back of the programming unit.
I
f At the back of the programming unit, press the side locking
tabs inwards and remove the frame from the programming
unit.
f Place the new programming unit into the top front panel
from the front.
f Fit the frame on the back of the programming unit.
f Press carefully on the programming unit until it clicks into
place in the frame.
f Insert the cable into the slot at the back of the programming
unit.
f Fit the top front panel to the ventilation unit.

The guarantee conditions of our German companies do not
apply to appliances acquired outside of Germany. In countries
where our subsidiaries sell our products a guarantee can only
be issued by those subsidiaries. Such guarantee is only grant-
ed if the subsidiary has issued its own terms of guarantee. No
other guarantee will be granted.
We shall not provide any guarantee for appliances acquired in
countries where we have no subsidiary to sell our products.
This will not affect warranties issued by any importers.
Environment and recycling
f Dispose of the appliances and materials after use in accor-
dance with national regulations.
f If a crossed-out waste bin is pictured on the ap-
pliance, take the appliance to your local waste
and recycling centre or nearest retail take-back
point for reuse and recycling.
This document is made of recyclable paper.
f Dispose of the document at the end of the ap-
pliance's life cycle in accordance with national
regulations.
