from the aquarium. As regards type 220.57 we
recommend to store it outside the aquarium with
the protective device in order to reduce the
danger of injuries.
Storage of the magnetic pane cleaner
If the magnet is removed from the aquarium, the
rough surface must be cleaned after use,
thoroughly rinsed and dried afterwards.
Partitions and metal guards must by fitted on
types 220.55, 220.56 and 220.57 first of all.
Afterwards push together the two sections with
the protected surfaces and store at a non-metallic
and non-magnetic place.
The types 220.53 and 220.54 may be pushed
together and stored without partition when dry.
If the rough surfaces should be worn and
abraded after lengthy use, they may be replaced
(cf. spares).
Replacing the coatings (p. 15)
The used coatings are best loosened with a knife.
After careful removal the surface must be
thoroughly cleaned of dirt and grease using
cleansing alcohol. The new self-adhesive coating
must be accurately placed and pressed on after
removal of the protective foil.
