3. Fan Direction: Use the slide switch to change the fan's
direction:
• Forward (summer mode): The fan rotates counterclockwise,
pushing air downward to create a cooling breeze. This allows you
to keep the AC at a higher temperature without losing comfort (see
Figure A).
• Reverse (winter mode): The fan rotates clockwise, recirculating
warm air from the ceiling back into the room. This reduces the
need for heating while maintaining warmth (see Figure B).
4. Caution: Always turn off the fan and wait for it to stop
completely before changing the airflow direction using the
slide switch.
MAINTENANCE
▶Periodic Checks: Due to regular fan use, some connections may
loosen over time. Check the support joints, anchors, and blade
attachments at least twice a year to ensure all parts are properly
fastened for optimal performance.
▶Cleaning the Fan: Clean your fan regularly to keep it in good
condition. Do not use water, as it could damage the motor and
wooden parts and increase the risk of electrical shock. Use a dry
cloth or a soft, lint-free brush to avoid scratches. The surface is
treated with lacquer to reduce wear and discoloration.
▶Lubrication: No lubrication is required. The motor is designed with
a permanent lubrication system and requires no maintenance in this
aspect.
TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM 1: THE FAN WON'T START
1. Check the breakers and the main circuit fuse.
2. Inspect the connector block as described in Step 4 of the
installation process. Important: Ensure the power supply is
disconnected before making any adjustments.
3. Make sure the slide switch is in a clearly defined position
(up or down). If it is between both, the fan will not turn on.
4. If the fan still does not work, contact a qualified electrician.
Do not attempt electrical repairs yourself.
PROBLEM 2: THE FAN MAKES EXCESSIVE NOISE
1. Check that the screws on the motor housing are properly
tightened, but do not overtighten them.
2. Ensure that the screws attaching the blades to the motor
are securely fastened.
3. Some motors are sensitive to semiconductor speed
regulators. Do not use this type of regulator.
4. Allow 24 hours for the fan to go through its "adaptation
period." Noise from new fans usually disappears after this
Instruction manual
time.
PROBLEM 3: THE FAN VIBRATES
Fan blades have been weighed and grouped according to their density,
but since they are made of natural wood, slight variations may cause
vibration. To correct this:
1. Ensure that all blades are securely attached to their
mounts.
2. Check that the mounts are firmly attached to the motor.
3. Verify that the cover and mounting bracket are properly
secured to the ceiling.
4. If the fan continues to vibrate, swap two adjacent blades to
redistribute the weight and reduce vibration.
