Regulations and laws
This appliance has been developed and manufactured in accordance with applicable regulations. This ensures a very high level
of safety.
The model described here is a Class 1 medical device and complies with the following guidelines:

Regulation (EU) 2017/745 on medical devices (MDR)
•
Safety with regard to irritation/allergies according to EN ISO 10993-10 tested materials

Safety instructions
•
Read and follow the instructions for use before
using the product
•
Observe the safety instructions in the respective
chapter
•
This appliance may only be used for its intended
purpose (see chapter 4.4.1)
•
The product may only be used by persons with
instruction or under supervision. Do not allow
children to play with it.
•
Do not use the product on sloping surfaces.
•
Check the mains cable carefully for damage be-
fore connecting the product to the mains
•
Position the product so that the appliance plug
can be easily removed from the socket!
•
When operating electrical and mechanical func-
tions, ensure that no persons or objects are in
the adjustment range or are endangered by
them

The maximum load capacity must not be ex-
ceeded. Can be seen in the technical data (see
section 4.4.2)
•
As the user, make sure that the appliance is in
perfect condition before each start-up
•
In the event of irregularities or defects, the de-
vice must be taken out of operation until the de-
fect has been rectified and the customer service
of HESS Medizintechnik AG must be contacted
(see chapter 4.3.3).
•
Always use original spare parts from HESS

•
No manipulations or modifications may be made
to the device or parts thereof, otherwise the
guarantee will be invalidated
•
All serious incidents occurring in connection
with the product
to the manufacturer and the competent author-
ity!
