Auch bei eingeschalteter Pause kann der Vor-
und Rücklauf ebenfalls benutzt werden, um eine
bestimmte Stelle anzufahren.

With a playing CD the elapsed time of the actual
title is displayed. By pushing the button TIME se-
veral times the following time information can be
chosen:
1. the remaining time of the title
2. the remaining time of the total CD or a pro-
grammed title sequence
3. the time of the CD which has already been
played
4. with the fourth pushing of the button it is
switched back to the elapsed time of the actual title.

ausgeschaltet werden.

3 Gerät anschließen
1) Die Audio-Ausgangsbuchsen (22) über Cinch-
Kabel mit den entsprechenden Eingängen am
Receiver oder Verstärker verbinden. Dabei auf
die farbige Kennzeichnung der Buchsen und
Stecker achten (rot = rechter Kanal, weiß = linker
Kanal). Ist am Verstärker bzw. an der HiFi-Anlage
ein Digitaleingang vorhanden, sollte dieser über
ein entsprechendes Verbindungskabel mit dem
Digitalausgang des CD-2000 (23) verbunden
werden.
2) Die System-Steuerung ermöglicht bei Anschluß
von zum CD-Spieler dazugehöriger Geräte (z. B.
MONACOR
HiFi-Receiver
MONACOR Doppel-Tape-Deck TDD-2000) eine
umfangreiche Funktionssteuerung aller Kompo-
nenten. Zum Beispiel schaltet der Receiver auto-
matisch auf das entsprechende Gerät um, wenn

3 Connection
1) Connect the audio output jacks (22) via cinch
cables with the corresponding inputs at the re-
ceiver or amplifier. Watch the coloured coding of
the jacks and plugs (red = right channel, white =
left channel). If a digital input is provided at the
amplifier resp. at the HiFi system, it should be
connected via a corresponding cable with the di-
gital output of the CD-2000 (23).

matisch!
Um die System-Steuerung nutzen zu können, das
beiliegende Steuerkabel mit den 3,5 mm-Klinken-
steckern in einer der Buchsen SYSTEM CON-
TROL am CD-Spieler (21) und am Receiver
stecken.
3) Erst nachdem alle Geräte miteinander verbunden
sind, den Netzstecker in die Steckdose (230 V~/
50 Hz) stecken.
4) Ein mittelohmiger Stereo-Kopfhörer (Impedanz
> 8 Ω) kann bei Bedarf an die 6,3 mm-Klinken-
buchse PHONES (10) angeschlossen werden.
Besitzt der Kopfhörer keinen eigenen Lautstärke-
regler, muß ein getrennter Stereo-Kopfhörer-Ka-
belregler
schengesteckt werden.
Vorsicht! Hohe Lautstärken können auf Dauer
das Gehör schädigen. Das menschliche Ohr ge-
wöhnt sich an große Lautstärken und empfindet
sie nach einiger Zeit nicht mehr so hoch. Darum
eine hohe Lautstärke nach der Gewöhnung nicht
weiter erhöhen.
4 Bedienung
Die Bedienung des CD-Spieler kann durch drei Mög-
lichkeiten erfolgen:
1. direkt über die Bedienelemente des CD-Spielers
2. mit der Fernbedienung des CD-Spielers
DRS-2000
und
3. mit der Zentral-Fernbedienung des MONACOR
HiFi-Receiver DSR-2000 für alle wesentlichen
Funktionen (nur bei Verbindung des Receivers
und des CD-Spielers über das beiliegende Steu-
erkabel)
2) The system control allows an extensive function
control of all components with connection of units
matching the CD player (e. g. MONACOR HiFi
Receiver DRS-2000 and MONACOR Double
Tape Deck TDD-2000). For example the receiver
automatically switches over to the corresponding
unit if the CD player or the tape deck is set to
start. Also an automatic level adjustment with CD
recordings on the tape deck is possible: the CD is
shortly monitored, the recorder adjusts the re-
cording level prior to the recording start, and then
the CD starts from the beginning, the recording
starts - a fully automatic function!
To be able to use the system control, plug the en-
closed control cable with the 3.5 mm plugs in one
of the jacks SYSTEM CONTROL at the CD player
(21) and at the receiver.
3) Only after all units have been connected with
each other, connect the mains plug to the socket
(230 V~/50 Hz).
4) Stereo headphones of medium impedance (im-
pedance > 8 Ω) can be connected to the
PHONES (10), if required. If there is no volume
control at the headphones, a separate stereo
headphones cable control (e. g. MONACOR
HEC-60) must be inserted.
Attention! Never adjust the headphones volume
too high. Permane nt high volumes may damage
a person's hearing. The hearing gets accustomed
to high volumes which after some time do not
seem to be so high. Therefore do not further in-
crease a high volume after getting used to it.
4 Operation
The CD player can be operated in three ways:
1. directly via the operating elements of the CD
player
2. with the remote control of the CD player
3. with the central remote control of the MONACOR
HiFi Receiver DSR-2000 for all essential func-
