3.3.2 Choosing the right gas
Before TIG welding, it is necessary to connect the gas to protect the workpiece. Correct gas selection is an important
step towards good welding.

Make sure the machine is switched off.
Check that the power cable is in good condition and that the input voltage is correct.
Plug the set into the power socket.
For TIG welding, connect the gas hose. Set the desired flow rate (5 - 10 l/min).
Connect the earth cable to the part to be welded according to polarity.
Connect the TIG torch or electrode holder, observing the correct polarity.
Switch on the device, select the desired welding mode on the screen and set the appropriate parameters.
Before starting, make sure there is no short-circuit between the torch and the workpiece.
