locking lugs on the lid insert through the
recesses in the side of the opening.
8. Twist the lid insert clockwise until it
locks in place.
• To remove the lid or lid insert, first twist
it anticlockwise to release the locking
lugs.
Connecting
9. Make sure that the rotary switch (9)
is in the 0 position.
10. Fully unwind the connecting cable and
plug the mains plug into a plug socket.
USE
Please Note!

Make sure that the device remains stable
during operation. Always hold the device
firmly with one hand.
■
Do not move the device during use.
Always remove the mains plug from
the plug socket and allow the motor to
come to a complete standstill before
transporting the device.
■
The device is not suitable for constant
operation. Operate the device for no
more than 2 minutes without inter-
ruption to prevent the motor from
overheating. Then allow the device to
cool down for a few minutes before it
is switched on again.
■
Do not overload the device! When the
maximum fill level is reached or to chop
up hard foodstuffs, select the maximum
speed level so the device is not over-
loaded.
■
Do not detach the blender jug from the
motor unit during operation. Before
detaching it, switch off the device and
wait until the blades have come to
a standstill.
■
Always keep the lid closed during oper-
ation. Only ever add ingredients through
the refill opening in the lid.

Chop up the ingredients before you
add them.
Do not add larger amounts all at
once, but instead add gradually
while operating the device.
1. Pour chopped-up ingredients and a
little liquid if necessary into the blender
jug (5).
When you do this, do not exceed the
top mark on the measuring scale (7)!
With liquids that froth (e.g. milk),
pour no more than 1 litre into the
blender jug.
2. Close up the blender jug with the lid (4)
and lid insert (3) (see the "Set-Up and
Connection" chapter – "Attaching /
Removing the Lid").
3. Hold the blender jug securely with one
hand. Use your other hand to operate
the rotary switch (9):
○ Switch on: turn to position 1.
○ Increase speed: turn to position 2.
○ Switch off: turn to position 0.
○ Switch on pulse function (the blades
rotate with brief pauses): turn to
position P and hold there. Let go of
the rotary switch to stop.
4. More ingredients can be added through
the refill opening (6). To do this, first
twist the lid insert anticlockwise and
then remove it from the lid.
5. Once the ingredients are of the desired
consistency, turn the rotary switch to
the 0 position.
6. Pull the mains plug out of the plug socket.
7. Wait until the blades have come to a
complete standstill. Only after this
should you twist the blender jug anti-
clockwise and take it off the motor unit.
8. Twist the lid anticlockwise and take
it off the blender jug to pour out the
contents.
9. Clean the accessories after each use
to prevent germ formation (see the
" Cleaning and Storage" chapter). Do not
allow any food residues to dry on.
