CLEANING AND STORAGE
Please Note!
■
The motor unit is not dishwasher-safe.
Do not immerse it in water or other
liquids!
■
Use a rinsing brush to clean the blade
insert in order to prevent injuries.
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning
agents or cleaning pads to clean the
device. These may damage the surfaces.
• As required, wipe down the motor
unit (1) with a damp cloth. Use a little
detergent to remove more intense
soiling.
• Unscrew the blade insert (2) from the
blender jug (5) to clean it. Then rinse
with clear, warm water and detergent.
Although it is dishwasher-safe, it is
preferable to wash it by hand to preserve
the blades.
• To ensure that the sealing ring (8) lasts
for as long as possible, remove it from
the blade insert and clean it separately
by hand and not in the dishwasher.
• Clean the blender jug, lid (4) and lid
insert (3) with clear, warm water and
detergent or in the dishwasher.
• Allow all parts to dry completely or dry
them with a tea towel before they are
assembled or stored away.
• Store in a cool, dry place which is pro-
tected from direct sunlight and is out
of the reach of children and animals.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If the device does not work properly, check
whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved
with the steps below, contact the customer
service department.
Do not attempt to repair an
electrical device yourself!
The device does not work.
The blender jug (5) with the blade insert (2)
is not inserted correctly in the motor unit (1).
► Correct the fit.
The mains plug is not inserted in the plug
socket correctly.
► Correct the fit of the mains plug.
The plug socket is defective.
► Try another plug socket.
The device has switched off automati-
cally during operation and can no longer
be switched on.
Food is blocking the blades.
► Switch off the device, then take off the
blender jug (5), open it and remove
the blockage with a wooden spoon or
similar implement.
The blended mixture is too thick.
► Remove some of the blended mixture
and add a little liquid if necessary.
The device is overloaded.
► Pull the mains plug out of the plug
socket. Allow the device to cool down
for at least 10 minutes. Then try again.
