Death by electric shock!
- Never touch an electrical device when your hands or feet are wet or when you are
barefoot.
- A damaged power cable must be replaced immediately by the supplier, a specialist
dealer or Frecan technical support staff.
- Discontinue use if the cable connections or power sockets are damaged.
- If the cooking surface is made of glass-ceramic or similar material and is cracked,
switch off the appliance and call customer service.
- If the cooker hob can no longer be switched off due to a defect, immediately
switch off the protective circuit breaker in the house and call customer service.
- There is a need to allow disconnection of the appliance from the power supply,
unless it is fitted with a switch that ensures omnipolar power cut-off on stationary
devices. Disconnection can be achieved by means of an accessible plug or by
incorporating a switch in the electrical installation in accordance with the
installation rules.
WARNING
- Fire hazard from improper use!
- Never store objects on the worktop.
- Never store highly flammable items on top of/underneath the equipment. If the
power is turned on unintentionally, parts may become misshapen or burned.
- Do not place aluminium foil or plastic on the hob.
- Keep household appliances away from hotplates. Keep anything that might melt
away from the hotplate, e.g. plastic sheeting, especially sugar or foods with high
sugar content.
- Be especially careful when grilling because oil and grease can catch fire. Never
extinguish an oil or grease fire with water.
- Steam cleaners must not be used.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a
separate remote-control system.
