prevented it with this procedure. So, after each fuel application, open the primary air
regulator completely and only adjust it again after the fuel application has been ignited
according to Table 1.
15. No flammable objects may be placed or leaned against in the warming compartment or
on/on the device. Observe safety distances.
16. It is important to ensure that the installation area has sufficient load-bearing capacity. If
the load capacity is insufficient, suitable measures must be taken (e.g. plate to distribute
the load).
17. During heating mode, all surfaces and especially the viewing windows as well as the
handles and controls can become very hot. Make children, people and animals present
during heating operation aware of this. Use the enclosed protective glove or the auxilia-
ry tool for operation. Children and young people under the age of 16 are not allowed to
operate the oven without adult supervision.
18. It is important to ensure that the ash pan is always pushed in as far as it will go and to
ensure that no hot ash is disposed of (risk of fire).
19. During the transition period, there may be disruptions in the chimney draft, so that the
exhaust gases are not completely exhausted. The fireplace should then be filled with a
small amount of fuel, preferably wood chips/wool, and put into operation under control in
order to stabilize the chimney draft. The grate should be clean.
20. After at least every heating period, it is advisable to have the devices checked by a
specialist. The exhaust paths and exhaust pipes should also be thoroughly cleaned.
21. If repairs or replacements need to be made, please contact us in good time, stating the
exact item number. and manufacturing no. to your specialist dealer. Only original
Wamsler spare parts should be used.
22. Work, such as installation, assembly, initial commissioning and service work as well as
repairs, may only be carried out by a trained specialist company (heating or air heating
construction). Improper intervention will void the warranty and guarantee.
23. Since the solid fuel oven/stove takes the air required for combustion from the room in
which it is installed, it must be ensured that sufficient air always flows in through the
leaks in the windows or external doors. It can be assumed that this is guaranteed by a
room volume of at least 4m³ per kW of nominal heat output. If the volume is smaller, a
combustion air connection with other rooms can be created via ventilation openings
(min. 150cm²). Extractor fans that are operated together with fireplaces in the same
room or in the same room can cause problems.
24. Care must be taken to ensure that the distances to combustible components and
materials - at the sides, back and front - are maintained. These distances can be found
in the operating instructions and/or the nameplate.
25. The fireplace may not be changed.
26. The connection to a chimney whose effective height is less than 4m, or 5m for multiple
occupancy, should be avoided. A calculation in accordance with EN 13384 must be car-
ried out beforehand on the chimney intended for connecting the stove (chimney sweep).
27. In the event of a chimney fire, immediately close all openings on the device and notify
the fire department. Under no circumstances should you try to delete it yourself. After-
wards, be sure to have the chimney checked by a specialist.
28. Solid fuels naturally produce soot, so contamination of the viewing window can never be
completely ruled out and does not represent a defect.
