N 1 M10 x 40 x 1.5 pitch Bolt, Lock Washer and 2 Flat Washers (30 O.D.)

FITTING
1. Remove bumper (4 screws on underside of rear bumper, 5 torq screws on top of bumper (open boot), 2 self tapping
screws and 1 plastic fastener inside lower part of wheel arch holding splash guard, 2 screws on each side holding
bumper to main body). Remove square bung on underside of each chassis rail, temporarily remove bumper beam (3
nuts each side).
2. Remove bumper beam for access to ends of chassis rails.
3. Lower exhaust – Undo rearmost hanger bolt, disconnect rubber hanger at front of rear exhaust box.
4. Position the inner faces of Brackets (D) & (E) on the outer/underside of each chassis rail and move rearwards until they
touch the rear valance. Using the 13mm diameter holes as guides, drill 2 horizontal and 1 vertical hole into each chassis
rail. Remove any burr and treat the drilled holes with rust preventative.
5. Attach Brackets (D) & (E) to each chassis rail using fasteners (J) and 2 Captive Bolt Straps (H)
6. Assemble Side Brackets (F) and (G) to Brackets (D) and (E) using fasteners (L), (K) and remaining Captive Bolt Straps
(H)
7. Assemble Cross Bar (A) to Side Brackets using fasteners (M).
8. Assemble Neck (ZQ) and Electrical Plate (EP) to Cross Bar (A) using fasteners in neck Kit
9. Remount the exhaust using fastener (N), packing down the exhaust hanger bracket with the Flat Washers.
10. Remount the bumper beam.
11. Fully tighten all Fasteners
12. Cut bumper (90mm wide equal about centre-line and 75mm into bumper, measured from bottom edge) and refit.
Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings:
Grade 10.9:
M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
M12 – 139Nm
