V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
This submersible pump is designed to be fully submerged in liquid, typically water. Their
primary purpose is to pump water from one location to another, such as draining flooded areas,
emptying water from swimming pools or basements, irrigating fields, or supplying water from
wells. The pump is intended for domestic use only, it is not suitable for artisanal, commercial,
professional and/or industrial use.
5.2- Operation
On switching on the electricity socket, the pump will begin to operate (if water level high
enough to operate the float switch). The pump will begin to expel the water via your hose and
once the water level drops to the required level, the float switch will automatically switch off the
pump.
VI. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
WARNING!
Before any intervention on product, ensure that power is set to the "OFF" position and
disconnect from main power source.
Reminder: In order to maintain the machine in good working condition, carry out regular
maintenance of the machine after each use and before storage. Any breach or inadequate
maintenance reduces the life of the machine and increases the risk of breakdowns and accidents.
6.1- Cleaning obstructions in the impeller housing
• If the impeller becomes blocked or obstructed, remove the base plate by removing the
securing screws.
• Remove any foreign objects and then refit carefully.
• Do not lever the impeller as this will cause damage due to its brittle construction.
• Flush the pump with fresh clean water, then dry with a clean cloth.
6.2- Storage
• Before extended periods of inactivity or winter, the pump should be flushed with fresh clean
water, then dried with a clean cloth and stored in dry environment.
• Keep the product, instruction manual and accessories (if any) in the original packaging.
• Store the product in a clean environment, where is not freezing or too hot (exceed 50 ̊ C ).
• Keep out of reach of children (e.g., lock it up).
6.3- Disposal
• Do not dispose with household garbage. Do not throw into the environment.
• Dispose of the product in a collection centre for waste of electrical and electronic
equipment, or a waste drop-off centre; or seek advice from your local municipality.
• Proceed with disposal of the tool, accessories and packaging according to local regulations
regarding the protection of the environment.
