COMMUNICATION INTERFACE

5-pin interface connector to terminals 12 -16. Interface RS422/RS485
All operations which are possible from the indicator front, are also possible via the serial
interface.
Data format:

7-bit ASCII value or 7-bit binary

1 parity bit (EVEN)

1 stop bit

MAINTENANCE / PROBLEMS / TROUBLE SHOOTING
The indicator is maintenance-free. In case of trouble, check the following points:

Are all connections correct?
w
Use the table below to localize the source of trouble.
w
If no solution of the problem is found, disconnect the indicator and replace it.

Cleaning:
Housing and front can be cleaned by means of a dry, lint-free cloth. No use solvents or
cleansing agents!

Solution
Delete input signal correction , and set new values, if necessary.
Press key D for approx. 15 seconds. If necessary, the measured
value correction must be carried out again!
Check the configuration.
Increase hysteresis setting
Check installation (cable runs); is external equipment causing
interference?
If there is a link between terminals 9 and 10 , the indicator is in
"Remote" operation, and front panel operation is disabled.
Open the link!
Check input connections for possible faults.
Change the setting of dP to 0, and adjust the scaling accordingly
(if fitted).
