Burner Assembly - Natural Gas
17. Pull all hoses and wires from inside the unit out through the control plate cutout.
18. Ensure you have assembled the control panel, as outlined on page 10.
19. Using two adjustable wrenches, attach the flexible natural gas line
to the inlet valve fitting (arrow pointing in). Do not overtighten.

20. Using two adjustable wrenches, attach the flexible burner gas line
to the outlet valve fitting (arrow pointing out). Do not overtighten.

21. Connect the thermocouple to the control valve. Hand-tighten first
then securely tighten (1/2 turn) with a 10mm wrench. Damage to the
thermocouple and/or loose connections will cause operation issues.
22. Plug the ignitor wire and grounding wire into the back side of the

Surround Unit, feeding the cables and wires back into the unit as needed
until the Control Panel is properly positioned in place.
24. Secure the control panel assembly with the 4 screws.

26. Spread the glass media evenly over the burner surface. Use all black
glass media provided for best effect. Glass media CANNOT be present
inside the igniter wind guard. Remove the cardboard cover from inside
ignition wind guard.
27. Press and hold sparker button to verify presence of spark.
Look inside ignition wind guard for visible spark.
