of hazardous components, as well as from improper storage and

7. Unplug the power plug from the electrical socket when you are
not using the appliance and before cleaning it.
8. Warning! Do not submerge the power cord, the electric plug
or the appliance in water or in any other liquid! Never place the
appliance under running water!
9. The appliance must not be used with an external timer or
separate remote control system.

Risk of burns! While the appliance is in use, the
warming plate and the glass carafe are heated to very
high temperatures. Only grab the glass carafe by its
handle. Scalding may occur if the water tank or carafe lid is opened
when brewing coffee. Allow the appliance to cool before opening
the water tank or carafe lid and before cleaning.
11. Do not use outdoors. This appliance is intended to be used in
household and similar applications such as:
– staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working
environments;
– farm houses;
– by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type
environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments.
12. Regarding the instructions for cleaning surfaces in contact
with food, please refer to the below paragraph "CLEANING AND
CARE" in manual.
13. If you use an extension cord, check that its rated capacity
matches the appliance's power consumption.
14. Place the appliance on a flat, stable and heat-resistant surface.
15. Always turn off the appliance before unplugging it.
16. Plug the power plug into an easily accessible electrical socket
to be able to immediately unplug the appliance in the event of an
emergency. Unplug the power plug from the electrical socket to
completely power off the appliance. Use the power plug as a power
cut-off device. Never pull the cord to remove the plug, always grab
the plug.
