Fan noise from the
induction hob.
The cookware does
not heat up and the
control panel shows
no indication that the
cookware is on the
hob.
The induction hob or
a cooking zone has
unexpectedly switched
off, a sound is emitted,
and an error code is
displayed (usually
alternating one or two
digits on the timer
indicator).
7. FAULT DISPLAY AND INSPECTION
If a fault occurs, the induction hob will automatically go into protection mode and display the
corresponding fault codes:

The fan of the induction hob
helps prevent overheating.
It can continue to run even
after the induction hob has
been switched off.
The induction hob cannot
detect the cookware because
the cookware is incompatible.
The induction hob does not
detect the cookware because
it is too small for the cooking
zone or not well centred on it.
Technical fault.
Possible causes
Induction-coil temperature sensor
fault.
Fault in the temperature sensor of the
IGBT transistor.
Abnormal supply voltage.
This is normal and not a cause for
concern. Do not unplug the hob
from the mains if the fan is still
running.
Use only cookware compatible
with the induction hob. See the
"Cookware quality" section.
Centre the cookware and make
sure its base matches the size of
the cooking zone.
Write down the letters and
numbers of the error, unplug the
induction hob from the mains,
and contact the official Cecotec
Technical Support Service.
Possible solution
