3. INSTALLATION
Gluing the adhesive sealing gasket
The gasket supplied with the induction hob prevents liquid from seeping into the cabinet
below. The gasket must be carefully glued, as shown in Figure 4. For this purpose:
Clean the surface of the edge of the hob where the sealing gasket is to be fitted.

Install the sealing gasket along the outer edge of the induction hob. Make sure that the
end of the cut sealing gasket reaches the end of the hob edge. When cutting the gasket,
try to leave a few extra millimetres. To fit the gasket, push the two ends together at a
corner and do not leave a gap between both ends. The sealing gasket must be installed to
ensure that no liquid leaks inside the induction hob.
Installation
The product must be installed by authorised specialists.

The installer must comply with the legislation and standards in force in the country where
the product is to be installed.

The distance between the induction hob and the surrounding walls must be at least 50
mm.

When installing the induction hob, there may be a wall or a tall cabinet at the rear or on one

side. Should it be the case, there must not be any furniture or appliances that are higher
than the cooking surface on the opposite side (opposite to the rear or one of the sides).

The installation worktop and the objects close to it must be heat resistant (100 °C). The
sealing gaskets at the edges of the wall must be heat-resistant.

Do not install the induction hob on top of a dishwasher or a non-ventilated oven.
