5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
Allow the induction hob to cool down before cleaning to avoid burns.

Wipe the stains with a damp cloth with detergent diluted in a little water. Then wet with
cold water and dry the surface thoroughly. You can use specific cleaning products for
induction / glass ceramic hobs.
Always avoid using corrosive or abrasive detergents and cleaning utensils that may

scratch the surface.
Never use a steam or pressure cleaner.

Do not use any objects that could scratch the ceramic glass.
Make sure that the cookware to be used is clean and dry. Make sure that the control panel

and the cookware are not dusty. Sliding cookware with damaged or worn bottoms will
damage the surface.

Spilled sugar, jam, etc. should be cleaned up immediately. This will prevent the surface
from getting damaged.
Dirt
Usual dirt on the
glass (fingerprints,
marks, food stains,

Important details

When the induction hob is
switched off, there will be no
"hot surface" indication, but the
cooking zone may still be hot.
Be especially careful.
Abrasive cloths, some nylon

abrasive cleaning products
may scratch the glass. Always
read the label to check if your
cleaning product or scouring
pad is suitable.

Never leave cleaning product
residues on the induction hob to
avoid staining the glass.
