Locking the touch icons
The icons can be locked to, e.g., prevent children from accidentally switching on the
-
cooking zones.
By pressing the Lock touch icon, all icons will be locked, except the Power touch icon.

Locking the hob
Press the Lock touch icon. The timer indicator will show "Lo".
Unlocking the hob
Make sure the induction hob is switched on.

Hold down the Unlock icon for three seconds to unlock.
Resume use of the hob.

When the hob is locked, all touch icons are disabled except the Power touch icon for possible
emergency shutdown. Should it be the case, it will be necessary to unlock the icons upon
switching the hob back on.
Using the timer
The timer can be used in two ways:
You can use it as a minute counter. In this case, no cooking zone will be switched off once
-
time elapses.
In minute-counter mode, the timer can be set to switch off a cooking zone after the set
-
time has elapsed.
The timer can be set for up to 99 minutes.

Using the timer as a minute counter
If no cooking zone is selected:
Make sure the hob is on.

Press the Timer touch icon: the corresponding indicator will flash, and the control panel
will display "00" flashing.

Adjust the time by sliding your finger on the slider.
Press the Timer touch icon again: "0" will flash.

Adjust the time by sliding the slider. Time can be set for up to 65 minutes.
Once the set time has elapsed, an acoustic signal will sound for 30 seconds, and the

indicator will show "– – ".
Setting the timer to switch off a cooking zone
To set a cooking zone to switch off:
1.
Press the cooking-zone selection touch icon of the cooking zone you wish to set the timer
for (for example, cooking zone 2).

Press the Timer touch icon: the corresponding indicator will flash, and the control panel
will display "00" flashing.
