1. Remove Tow Hitch Cover - Using a flat screwdriver, remove (9) push-pin fasteners from bottom area rear Bumper Fascia that hold Tow Hitch Cover and Bumper
Fascia to Fascia Support Panel. From underneath, see Figure 2, remove (2) clips holding Tow Hitch Cover to Bumper Fascia. Return Tow Hitch Cover and (2) Clips to
vehicle owner.
2. Remove Fascia Support Panel - Using a 10mm socket remove (2) screws (1 per side). Using pliers, remove (2) square shaped plastic retaining clips by rotating clip
1/4 turn. See Figures 1, 2, 3. Return to owner.
3. Enlarge Access Hole – Using a die grinder with burr bit, enlarge existing hole in bottom of frame rail enough to fit 1" wide spacer block (item 4).
Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which
has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch. This product complies with safety
specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5 and SAE J684.
