5. OPERATION MODES
ECOWATT PLUS units allow the following operating modes:
• Constant pressure (COP) mode, by factory default, with modifiable setpoint parameters.
• Constant airflow (CAV) mode with modifiable setpoint parameters.
• Variable airflow volume (VAV) mode by installing an external sensor with 0-10V or 4-20mA analog signal.
• MIN/MAX mode.
Operating mode and setpoint setting selection are made by means of the microswitch S1.1, S1.2 and the selector S4 (see
locations in section 4.2). The microswtich is ON/OFF type and the selector has 16 positions (0 – 9, A – F). Parameters
described below:

Description
USB connector. Software update and, operation and alarm register.
1 – OFF: Constant pressure operation (COP) - (factory default)
ON: Constant airflow operation (CAV)
2 – OFF: Low pressure setpoints (60-300Pa) on selector S4 (COP mode)
ON: High pressure setpoints (330-600Pa) on selector S4 (COP mode)
3 – OFF: Hardware parameterization (selector and switches) - (factory default)
ON: Parameterization via Modbus
4 – No use
1 – OFF: AI1 analog input, 0-10V - (factory default)
ON: AI1 analog input, 4-20mA
2 – OFF: AI2 analog input, 0-10V - (factory default)
ON: AI2 analog input, 4-20mA
3 – OFF: AI3 analog input, 0-10V - (factory default)
ON: AI3 analog input, 4-20mA
1 – OFF: Force cannel 1 Modbus communication - (factory default)
ON: Modbus communication channel selected (holding register 40001)
2 – OFF: Modbus communication parameters: 19200, even, 1stop bit - (factory default)
ON: Communication parameters according to Modbus modification (holding registers
40002 - 40003)
3 – OFF: Modbus network end impedance enabled - (factory default)
ON: Modbus network end impedance disabled
16-position selector (0 – 9, A – F), operating modes and settings
CR2032 battery. Maintains the configured time when the equipment is not powered
(necessary in case of time schedule via Modbus). Remove seal during start-up.
Protection fuse (5x20, 6.3A, T)
Red LED that indicates motor alarm. Constant flashing when motor alarm is activated
Green LED that indicates main power. Fixed when powered.
Green LED that indicates Modbus communication. On/Off sequence according to Modbus
protocol.
