Y Disconnect input power to rack
before working on wiring for any
welding power source.
Have only qualified persons make this instal-
lation.

Open access door on front of control box.

Strain Relief Connector

Welding Power Source Input Power
Cord
Each welding power source location on the
rack is numbered. The numbers on the
control box access door refer to the similarly
located strain relief connectors and fuse
holder terminals inside the control box.

Power Cord Preparation:
Cut power cord to a length of 77 in (1956 mm)
from strain relief.
Strip cord jacket back 13 in (330 mm).
Cut black, white, and red leads to a length of
4 in (102 mm).
Strip 3/4 in (19 mm) of insulation off end of
leads.
Insert power cord into strain relief with
number matching location of welding power
source on rack.

Install grounding conductor to grounding
terminal.

When installing conductors from the
welding power source, torque the fuse
holder terminals and grounding terminal
to 40 in-lbs (4.5 N
Install input conductors from welding power
source to fuse holder nearest entry for input
conductors.
Tighten strain relief connector. Close and
secure access door.
