Measuring
Do not exceed the maximum permitted input values. Do not con-
tact circuits or parts of circuits if there could be voltages higher
than 25 V ACrms or 35 V DC present within them. Mortal danger!
Before measuring, check the connected measuring lines and
the measuring device for damage such as, for example, cuts,
cracks or squeezing. Defective measuring cables must no
longer be used. Mortal danger!
During measuring, do not grip beyond the tangible grip range
markings present on the test prods and on the clamp-on
ammeter.
You may only connect the measuring leads to the measuring
device if they are required for the measuring operation. For
safety reasons, remove all measuring lines from the measuring
device during current measuring.
Be exceptionally careful when measuring on current conductors
and non-insulated conductors - there is a risk of an electric
shock. Wear protective equipment (e.g. gloves, etc.) in accor-
dance with the applicable safety guidelines in order to prevent
injury from electric shocks and arcs, etc.
