Filling the water tank
• Lift the water tank and rotate it. The water tank is kept closed by means of a spring valve.
• Open the screwed plug on the water tank.
• Fill with water. The water tank holds a maximum of 2 litres.
• Tightly close the water tank using the screwed plug.
• Rotate the water tank and position it on the base unit. The tank should sit tightly on the base unit.
7. USAGE
NOTE
Check the humidity of your ambient air regularly. Intensive continuous operation can cause the ambient air to become excessively
humid. The relative air humidity should not exceed 60 %.
Switching on the device
• Insert the plug into the mains socket.
• If there is no or not enough water in the water tank, a red LED lights up. The device has switched off for safety reasons.
• Fill the water tank as described under 6. Initial use.

NOTE
You may optionally add drops of aroma/scented oils to the aroma compartment (8). These will lend a pleasant odour to the room.
Under no circumstances should you add the aroma directly to the water.

NOTE
In night mode, the air humidifier operates in level 2 with a lower evaporation output and no LED illumination to ensure undisturbed
and therefore restful sleep.
8. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Regular cleaning and disinfection are a prerequisite for hygienic and fault-free operation.
The level of contamination of the device depends on the water quality and how long it has been in operation. In any case, we
recommend the following cleaning intervals.

Use either a citric acid solution (30 g pure citric acid powder dissolved in 1 l water) or a vinegar solution (household vinegar with
5% acid content mixed with water in a ratio of 1:2) as a descaling solution.
 WARNING
The device must be switched off after every use and before cleaning. Pull the plug out of the mains socket.

Clean the ultrasound membrane with a brush, rinse the base.
Rinse the water tank, replace the water.
Clean the air humidifier inside and out.
