The device must not be stored or used at tempera-
tures which are too high or too low, at a humidity
which is too high or too low (see "Technical data"),
in sunlight, connected to an electrical current, or
in a dusty location. Otherwise, there could be
measurement inaccuracies.

mometer mode:
43 °C (109.4 °F),
2) Object temperature
mode: 100 °C
(212 °F).
The temperature deter-
mined is lower than
1) Ear/forehead ther-
mometer mode:
34 °C (93.2 °F),
2) Object temperature
mode: 0 °C (32 °F).
A measurement was
carried out during the
device's self-check.
Solution
Only use the ther-
mometer within the
temperature ranges
stated. If necessary,
clean the sensor tip.
If the same error
message pops up
again, please get
in contact with the
specialist dealer or
customer service.
Wait until the self-
check has finished
and the measure-
ment type symbol
has stopped flash-
ing.
