GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
The warranty on this snow thrower does not
cover items that have been subjected to op-
erator abuse or negligence. To receive full
value from the warranty, the operator must
maintain the snow thrower as instructed in
this manual.
Some adjustments will need to be made pe-
riodically to properly maintain your snow
thrower.
All adjustments in the Service and Adjust-
ments section of this manual should be
checked at least once each season.

Tighten any loose fasteners.
Run the machine to clear the auger of
snow.
Remove all snow and slush from the
snow thrower to prevent freezing of au-
ger or controls.
Lubricate the flange on the discharge
chute before storage.
See Lubrication Chart diagram for lu-
brication points and type of lubricant.
Lubricate chute control flange.
Remove discharge chute and
coat flange with a clinging type
grease such as Lubriplate.
