3. Preparation
3.1 Charging
The device should be charged for 2 hours before first
use.
Before plugging in the trimmer, make sure that the
mains voltage agrees with the voltage specified on the
rating plate.
It is not possible to "overcharge" the appliance.
NOTE
If you also use the predecessor model type HS61 in
addition to the new type HS62 shearing machine, you can
charge the device in the old charging station (charge time
90 minutes) and/or charge the old device type HS61 in the
new charging station (charging time 60 minutes).
The type HS60 shearing machine can also be charged in
the type HS62 charging station. However, it is not
possible to charge a type HS62 in the charging station for
the type HS60.
Insert the mains adapter 8 in a
power socket.
Place the charging unit 2 on a
flat surface.
Place the device in the charging station. It positions
itself and begins to charge. The green charge indica-
tor 1 blinks when charging current is flowing. Ensure
that the on/off switch 4 is set to 0 during charging.
The battery is completely charged as soon as the
green charge indicator 1 lights up steadily.
