TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
The snow shovel
does not start.
The machine is
visibly damaged.
The snow shovel
leaves a thin
layer.

CAUSE
◾
The battery pack is not fully
inserted into the battery
port.
◾
No electrical contact
between the snow shovel
and battery pack.
◾
The battery pack charge is
depleted.
◾
The battery pack or snow
shovel is too hot.
◾
The lock-off button or
trigger is not used properly.
◾
The cable inside the shaft is
damaged.
◾
Accidental damage during
transportation or use.
◾
The scraper bar is worn.
SOLUTION
◾
Check if the battery is fully
inserted into the battery port.
◾
Remove battery pack, check
contacts and reinstall the
battery pack.
◾
Charge the battery pack.
◾
Allow the battery pack or
snow shovel to cool until
the temperature drops to
the recommended operating
temperature range.
◾
Follow the instructions in
the chapter "STARTING/
STOPPING THE SNOW
SHOVEL".
◾
Contact EGO Customer
Service for repair.
◾
Discontinue the use
immediately and contact EGO
Customer Service.
◾
Replace the scraper bar
following the chapter
"MOUNTING AND
DETACHING THE SCRAPER
BAR".
