INSTALLING/REMOVING THE BATTERY PACK
To install battery pack (Fig. 5a)
1. Align the ribs of the battery pack
with the mounting slots in the snow
shovel's battery port.
2. Slide the battery pack into the
battery port until it snaps into
position.
NOTICE:
Make sure that the latch on the
snow shovel snaps in place and the battery
pack is secured to the snow shovel before
beginning the operation. Failure to securely
seat the battery pack could cause the
battery pack to fall out, resulting in serious personal injury.
To remove battery pack (Fig. 5b)
WARNING:
the location of your feet and children or
pets around you when pressing the battery
release button. Serious injury could result
if the battery pack falls. NEVER remove the
battery pack at a high location.
1. Hold the battery pack in the palm of
your hand.
2. Press the battery release button
with your thumb and the battery
pack will disengage from the latch.
3. Grasp the battery pack and remove it from the snow shovel.
WARNING:
keep hands clear of the lock-off button and trigger switch when carrying or transporting
the snow shovel.
