6. Using the lower windshield as a template and drill two holes on the hood with a 5/16" dia drill bit. Fasten the
lower windshield (#2) onto the hood using
ADJUSTING THE CLUTCH LEVER PLAY
If the gearshift handle is too close to the windshield when "HIGH" gear is selected, it will be necessary to adjust the
shift cable.
Make sure the key is not in the ignition. Position the gearshift lever to "HIGH" position.
Locate the cable adjustment nuts located on the right rear of the vehicle. Loosen the nut (A) through several turns.
While observing the position of the lever, tighten nut (B) until the clearance between the gearshift and windshield is
satisfactory. Tighten the nut (A).
