Important notes on the deactivation of the safety function
To carry out certain operations (e.g. muting) the safety function of
the evaluation unit G15004 can be deactivated by means of suitable
wiring measures (e.g. via a keylock switch at the inputs E1/E2 and
E3/E4).
The operator undertakes to allow this operating state only in
conjunction with other measures which exclude a danger to people
(e.g. additional mechanical guard, lower speed of the drives).
These measures are at the operator's own responsibility and should
additionally be approved by respective test organisations.
ifm electronic assumes no liability for damage due to the
deactivation of safety functions.
